We go through supplements fast in our house - between my wife's hair loss concerns and my kid's brittle nails, it feels like we're constantly running out of something. Swanson Bamboo Extract was no exception; we polished off this bottle in about three weeks.

I liked that it seemed to make a difference. My wife noticed her hair felt thicker after about two weeks, which made her happy since she's been struggling with postpartum shedding. Our daughter, who's always had soft nails that break easily, didn't have any major splits or tears while taking these capsules either.

However, I found the size of the pills a bit too large for my liking. They're not huge, but they're certainly not small either. I managed to choke them down without issue, but our daughter struggled at first. Maybe Swanson could consider making them slightly smaller? Overall though, it's been a good addition to our supplement rotation and we'll definitely repurchase once we run out again.
