Compared to pricier options, the Ascensia CONTOUR NEXT GEN really packs a punch at under $16. I was skeptical about how well it would perform given its affordable price tag, but after two weeks of use, I'm impressed. The test strips gave me accurate readings every time, and the built-in timer helped ensure I wasn't holding my breath too long. However, while the kit comes with a carrying case, I found it a bit bulky for pockets. Overall, though, for the price, this monitor offers great bang for your buck – I'd certainly buy again.
